At the Scala Theatre in Milan, Giuseppe Verdi and Arrigo Boito stage an opera based on William Shakespeare's play Othello.

An important and anonymous international investor, announces the purchase of Contarini Fasan Palace in Venice, where the legend places the house of Desdemona, Othello's wife.
Located on the Grand Canal, halfway between the Gritti Palace and the Europa & Regina hotels, soon it will become a luxury hotel and will include some of the neighbouring buildings.

The professional entrusted with the creation of the brand is Marco Ferrari, a close friend of ours and a partner for this kind of projects.
Working on the client's goals and Marco's analysis, we develop the name and the logo of this new hotel.

There's the anagram of Othello that, besides recalling the character, defines the function of the place; there's an ancient Venetian typeface, a very fresh bloodstain and, on the background, a wall covered with brocade upholstery: a Tragic Scene in Venice.

Once the personality of the place is well‑defined, we start developing all the brand design applications: from the printed collateral to the speed boat for guests, with the hotel app and the visual identity for the outlets too.

The two restaurant, having completely different atmospheres, take their names from the other key characters in the tragedy.
But there are many others to take from, for the spa, the gym, the wine cellar...

We are sure it will become the new place to be in Venice.
People from all over the world... rooms will be selling like hot cakes.

Since it seems like a propitious time, the next project, scheduled February 22nd, will be another hotel, but with a totally different style.
